I made some minor tweaks to the flyer in a paint-over (above). The perspective view needs to show what the wings look like when they're rotated toward the viewer, so I tried to do that. I also unclasped the fingers on one hand to show the shape of them more clearly and added some eyelids to the color version just to see what it would look like.
